We are a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts. Our purpose is to bring the healing mission of Christian Science to Laguna Beach.
If the spirit of that mission is compelling to you, we invite you to consider joining with us in this work. You are needed! Becoming a member strengthens the whole just as much as the individual.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Attendance. If the applicant has been a member of any other Christian Science Branch Church, Society, or College Organization, such person may file an application for membership in this Church at any time. If the applicant has not previously been a members of a Christian Science Branch Church, Society, or College Organization, the applicant shall have attended this Church or Sunday School for the six months previous to filing an application for membership.
Former Church Affiliation. An applicant shall have definitely severed connection with any other Church or Society, except The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
Textbooks. An applicant shall study, as the only textbooks of Christian Science, the BIBLE and SCIENCE AND HEALTH WITH KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES, and any other works by the Discover and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy.
Church Manual. An applicant shall be conversant with and willingly governed by the Manual of The Mother Church.
Tenets. An applicant shall subscribe to the Tenets of The Mother Church.
Subscribe to By-Laws and Local Rules. An applicant shall subscribe to the By-Laws and Rules of this Church.
Tobacco, Liquor and Drugs. An applicant should be free from the use of drugs, opiates, alcohol, tobacco, and all material remedies.
Qualifications. An applicant shall be willing to aid in forwarding the organized activities of this Branch of The Mother Church.
General Conduct. An applicant shall have not only the name but the life of a Christian Scientist.
